Melton’s annual festival The Djerriwarrh Festival is happening again this Saturday (Nov 7th), and as always 979fm will be broadcasting live from the event.
The broadcast starts from 11am for the call of the Street Parade. We then continue broadcasting throughout the afternoon bringing you the performances on the Community Stage plus we’ll chatting with people involved with the festival including stall holders and performers. If you’re at the festival keep an eye out for 979fm’s float in the parade.
The festival is held at Melton Recreation Reserve, Reserve Road, Melton. It features lots of stalls, a wide selection of food and drink, the Lions Club Carnival and performances on both the Main Stage and Community Stage. Music performances on the main stage include Mik Maks, Cameron Henderson from Australia’s Got Talent, White Summer, soul act Emma Donovan & The PutBacks, Jason Singh from Taxiride teaming up with Mark Gable from Choirboys and headlined by the Baby Animals
