979fm, Melton Community Radio, are lucky to have an Outside broadcasting bus, where we can go to activities and broadcast live on air from the bus.
Bessie the bus is fully equipped. A group of volunteers that make sure that it is always cleaned and serviced.
We have participated in many activities, such as the Djerriwarah Festival, Melton South Community Center, Kurunjang Primary School, Platypus Festival, Caroline Springs Festival, Calleja Car Shows, Australia Day, Anzac Day, BFL Games and much more.
Bessie the bus helps us to raise money for the station, by coming to every Sausage Sizzle that we manage to get.
