Commencing Monday January 4, 979fm’s the long running multi award winning radio program “Harness Review” heard each Monday from 8-00pm will revert to a 90 minute mostly local content program. This means the show will finish at 9:30pm, not at 10pm as it has previously
Harness Review producer and host Len Baker advises that due to a number of requests from listeners who are asking for a bigger input of local news, the new format will centre more on all matters relevant to Victoria.
Len would like to sincerely thank all interstate correspondents – Robbie Dewar (W-A), Matt Robertson (Tas), Seryn Adams (NSW), Tom Eglinton (S-A) and Craig Rail (Q’land) for their assistance over a number of years, however these people will still be heard when there is an interstate feature race meeting program which will attract interest.
Harness Racing Victoria will also play a major part in the future of the program.
