We were all pleasantly surprised on Tuesday afternoon when J Man (who somehow managed to keep this a secret from everyone) was joined on his program JM Talkback by none other than broadcasting legend Derryn Hinch.

You all know that I typically don’t talk about what is happening on other radio stations but I have in the past made an exception for this particular individual.
Last Friday was the last Drive program on 3AW for veteran broadcaster Derryn Hinch, a fact that you would think I’d be happy about considering that this program has always aired in the same timeslot as Derryn. But as I have stated before I struggle to understand the decision by 3AW management to axe Derryn and I worry about the causes that Derryn has championed over the years.
Who will fight the good fight now, who will save the little children and what now for Hinch?
To hopefully answer those questions and more it is my pleasure to welcome to the program a man who needs only one introduction…
