There’s a big weekend ahead in Melton City and 979fm will be right in the thick of it.
First up this Saturday we have the Summersault Festival in Caroline Springs, a day of fun, food, sideshows and music for the whole family including some big names on the centre stage and 979fm will be there broadcasting live.

Summersault is due to finish with a big fireworks finale at 9.45 pm but at that point our night is only just starting because after Summersault we are off to Tabcorp Park for the 2014 Melton Relay for Life.
Relay for Life, which is run by the Cancer Council Australia, raises much needed money to support victims of cancer and their families and to support cancer research and 979fm is proud to support this very worthy cause and it’s participants by broadcasting live from the Melton Relay for Life from midnight till dawn
We should be pretty stuffed by Sunday afternoon but it will all be worth it, and it won’t slow us down any either.
So we’ll see you either at Summersault or Relay for Life and if you’re not going to be at either then you can still feel like you are by tuning to 979fm.
