At 979fm, Community Radio station, we try our best to keep up with modern technology, to provide the best service to our community.
Thanks to our volunteer and vice president as well engineer Mr Heinz Dittloff, he spends a lot of time thinking and brainstorming with other announcers to see what best fits our station as well our times to make it easy for all announcers.
At the moment we are upgrading one of our studios so it will have the capability to have 6 microphones, this will mean that talk shows, and community shows, such as The Homework Club” ” Harness Review” and other shows, can do a debate, live singing, and live discussions with ease. This means that we can have more guest speakers without sharing a microphone.
At present at 979fm Community radio station, we have 2 studio
s and hoping we will have the 3rd one soon, this can only be done with the support of the community and the support of our sponsors.
